The complementary breakfast was something we looked forward to every morning with a sufficient variety of food to choose from. We loved the modern decor and the spacious rooms with full-size appliances. We recently spent our Thanksgiving weekend at this hotel and it was a great experience overall. This is an old hotel that is in major need of a face lift. I’m thinking, “does this happen often?” I guess I was expecting a little more concern when there was literally human feces in my room! Other than the crappy situation (pun intended), the rest of the stay was uninspiring. The lady I was talking to said, “oh I’m sorry, let’s get you another room.” The other lady didn’t even react.
I told the lady that we were the people with the poop issue and the guy walked off. When I got there, there was a man (presumably the one I talked to) and two women including the woman who checked us in. He offered to change rooms and I headed down to the front desk. I called down to the front desk and the guy that answered said, “do want me to send someone up to take care of that? I responded that I wasn’t exactly confident that the room had been cleaned properly. I’m not sure exactly how to say this tastefully, but when I checked into my room, the toilet was…used. I stayed here for a business meeting and let’s just say, I was not happy.
